That One MyLeague Guy...

I'm not the only one who tries to go after the same guy in a MyLeague, right? I don't know what it is - whether it's 2K's trade finder or just my love of Michael-Carter Williams - but there's a few of the same players I always try to target when I start up a new MyLeague. MCW is one and now, this year, Yi Jianlian is another. Dude can shoot a solid three!

Who are some of your players? I listed mine below and I really want to hear who you guys try to go after!

Good topic, I was just thinking about this to myself the other day.

I love getting Nic Batum at any chance I can get in my MyLeague. I dropped 55 with him in a game a few years back, and after that I always have to get him on my team, guy does it all. Defense, shooting, he's the kind of player I love to use.

Patty Mills is another. Love using him at the PG position

JJ Redick. This guy is always a FA after year 1 and I try and make him an offer as fast as I can.

Add Mason Plumlee to that list, guy balls out for me no matter what.

I almost put Plumlee on that list man. I miss having him as a Nets fan but it was best for him to get out of Brooklyn. Reddick is a baller who I've loved since Orlando. Great sharpshooter who has absolutely thrived in Doc's system.

I've actually been trying to come up with a full teams worth of "my guys" aka my opinion of must have, underrated, and not a superstar tiered player...

So far, guard heavy

My 2 must haves

MO speights (always ends up making my team in expansion drafts 😊 )
Jr "I forgot I was in the game" smith (been a fan since he came into league)

Jamal Crawford (never gets deserved credit imo)

I added Kevin Garnett to my Cavs ML a couple of years ago, and 'unretired' him for my Clippers MyLeague this year.

He's a great back up big. Can defend at the rim and hit the jumper.

I usually do fantasy draft online myleagues and my signature player is terrance ross..gotta have him and bruno coboclo..

Everyone else usually depends on what type of team I feel like building, but I have a feeling my two guys going forward will be devin booker and tyler ulis..I guess I like duos

Trey Burke & Yi Jianlian. Yi kills it as a stretch 4 for me. 2k values height big time for rebounds too so he does well there. A couple others I'm likely missing. I always jump into a nice amount of play now games before I start a season to see which players I want in MyLeague/MyGM.

Josh Richardson is one that I started using last year and had to get him in MyLeague this year, both offline and online.
