Lol that's why I didn't sign any big names because it's not what realistically happens, I also try not to take rookies but in some cases it's unavoidable. That's where waiting a year comes in handy I take young unestablished guys from teams and free agency and try to build my own type of culture and winning strategy. I think my next project will be simming 10 seasons from now and just seeing how the NBA is

I love this feature. Have finally started playing this game mode now that you can expand the league.

I have started and stopped about 10-15 trying to fine tune what I want. And it changes based on new teams I find.

I have usually expanded all 6 teams the first year, and set the protected players to 10 for each existing. This often means we all suck for years but it's fun to see the CPU try different strategies to get better.

Currently I have (in no particular order)

Seattle Sonics
Las Vegas Aces
St. Louis Spirit
San Diego Admirals
Vancouver Lumberjacks
Jacksonville Nightowls (user team look for Sniper_Hare on PS4, I did not upload the original logo)

I have kept the top three and my team for most starts. The Admirals and Lumberjacks get replaced sometimes with a team from Kansas City or Pittsburgh.

I think ideally I'd like to move the Gizzlies back to Vancouver and use the Memphis Blues/Hounds in their place.

Seattle is with Vancouver in the Northwest
San Diego is in the Pacific
Las Vegas is in the Southwest
St. Louis is in the Central
Jacksonville is in the Southeast

I know this means that most of the expansion teams are in the Western Conference, but I want them to fit geographically and this makes the most sense to me.

When I use Pittsburgh or Baltimore I put them in the Eastern Conference.

The only teams I have added so far are the Las Vegas Aces and St. Louis Spirits. I then move the Kings to Seattle immediately after the first season ends.

This is by FAR my favorite mode in the history of NBA gaming (slightly beating out the dunk contest in Live 05, lol). Adding the option to upload our designs, COMPLETELY, makes it 10x better. I even create about 4-5 different uni sets for each expansion team (Pride, Latin Night, Alternate, Christmas Day, etc).

You can find my Spirits, Sonics, and Aces designs under JeJ8523 on X1. I am, however, having a hard time dealing with people DLing my design and uploading it as their own tho. 2K should give credit where credit is due. At least allow me to lock my design from being re-uploaded.

For me, I've uploaded the teams not to take credit, but to ensure I can easily find them in case the original uploader takes them down or they get banned.
