Hard crashes on the PS4 Pro have made this unplayable literally

I also have the digital version. I was told that they have been able to complete several games with my save on multiple other systems but they are still investigating most likely because I have been able to duplicate my hard crash 100% of the time. I really hope it isn't a hardware issue because sending the console to Sony and getting one back could be a lengthy ordeal. At this point I'll probably hold out for a bit longer because all my other games have yet to crash on the Pro and I can still play 2k17 on the normal ps4.

Got about 5 minutes into a My Team challenge, game crashes...this is after I Uninstalled and reinstalled the game. I am beside myself right now, never been so frustrated with a game before. I just don't understand how this hasn't become a bigger issue for 2K.

I've had my Pro for about six weeks now, I play 2K almost every night and haven't had a single crash (knock on wood). Have you tried contacting 2K support? Maybe they give you some advice or something. Maybe you can talk them into some sort of compensation or worst case scenario a refund, so you can buy a hard copy. Either way, I would be pretty upset if I were in your shoes. I hope you get it straightened out.

edit: Do you get an error code or anything when it crashes?

It's the standard CE-34878-0 error code, with a blue screen hard crash. It doesn't matter I've tried both disc and digital...still crashes but only in game, sometimes 1 min in, sometimes 15min. I feel like it's gotten worse over time..idk anymore.

Literally cannot finish 1st quarter. Crashes 100% of the time in MyGM. Have also uninstalled, reinstalled. Thank God I kept my regular ps4 or I wouldn't be able to play at all. I was told they are still working on it so good news there. Curious as to whether having the digital versus the disc makes a difference. I'm assuming so far the ones with hard crashes have the digital as well from what I'm hearing?

I have both and they both crash. Have you tried reinitializing your Pro? I'm tempted to try that.
