Frozen screen game will not load

I've accidentally hit cancel and it didn't corrupt the files, probably 'cause it's saved on their servers. This is on xbox.

Clear reserved then hit quit. Usually goes faster to load up if you press quit after you clear reserved.

Most likely got lucky. You keep cancelling they'll corrupt but it's possible to get them back because Xbox do in fact save them to the cloud. But I've heard some people not getting the saves back.

I just loaded up NBA 2k17 and got to this loading screen.
10 minutes or more later and I finally make it to the main menu.
I load up MyPlayer and finally get to MyCourt.
And then, I get the "please exit to the main menu for an update".

I've now wasted nearly an hour just trying to get to MyCourt.

Now I'm turning off the game, because I have things to do.

That was well worth the $65 I wasted on this game.

Who wants to wait, and why should we? For giggles, I waited it out one time, and it took over 5 minutes to move past the NBA Team Logo screen. That's too long. I want to turn it on and start playing right away.
