Snow in MyPark?

I know this is not important, but hey... mobile online game always add snow in the city (winter theme) every christmas. It would be great if there is a snow in the park, not just the outfits. Actually im not interested for park after dark. Just put a snow weather on park and that's cool. Sometimes small things like this will make people happy

I think they have more important things to work on. Also, I think the snow effect might affect the gameplay. Kind of like the light reflections on the ante-up court making it hard to see the who to guard arrow.

I like the idea. I think it would be a cool effect. Unfortunately because of the many missteps by 2K, they have very little confidence of many gamers to being able to pull off anything well.

So only with adding snow falling animation on park will make the game lag? I thought this is a next gen game...i play some mobile online rpg game but no problem with snow falling in town even theres a lot of people..thank you then. Just my opinion

The game already has trouble when you're on a court and have too much stuff going on around it. The amount of players (Which is about to double thanks to Christmas), plus the snow fall graphic, could potentially lag city

take out all the stupid amusement park crap and sounds from the Old Town and im willing to bet anybody it wont be how it is now..

I gotta disagree. I think it's just all the people in one park that makes it lag (along with server issues), not the atmosphere.

Especially when you consider that the graphics are ps2 graphics. The skybox looks like a JPG, the "lighting" is outdated and not dynamic, the prop objects don't do much of anything - the videogame equivalent of cardboard cut-outs.

Stuff like snow would be cool, but when I hear the "it will cause lag" thing it feels like too easy of an excuse for 2k. 2k just did a bad job on designing the park and they haven't put much effort into it since...

i feel you but the reason i said what i said was because, 2k16 Old Town was nowhere near as choppy as 2k17 Old Town, and the reason for it because of all the stupid background they added.

2K needs to go back to making realistic parks (2k14,2k15) and then we'd be able to make snow happen.

I played 1990s MMOs with snow an thousands of people. It wouldn't lag the game.

All they really would have to do is replace the Ground Textures with ones with snow textures. No lag difference.

Consider that they haven't changed the park textures in years and you have your answer as to why they don't do holiday themed parks.

We have the same exact hair styles, ugly clothes, and accessories for years. Even the sound in the park is exactly the damn same "Yo! I got next!"

Yeah i agree with you. that's why i confuse when people said the game would be lag...texture and
design can't make the game lag. Texture/design should not affecting the connection that make the game lag.

Also about the park difference from last year (2k16) i only notice the rim, floor and sky they have changed
