Re: 2K18: Proposed Layup Packages

You are the man for this godly post! I've been meaning to talk about this for some time now and we definitely need to bring it back to 2k 10 and 11 where we had such a variety of layup packages to choose from. Great overall post!

2K18: Proposed Layup Packages

To add to this, floaters/runners and should be a separate set of packages from layups. Currently animations like Tony Parker's two footed tear drop can only be used if you also use all of his other layup animations.

Best case scenario would be if you could select sets of animations for driving layups, standing layups, floaters/runners, euro steps, spin layups, and hop steps.

yes this is another one they should focus on and make the lay ups faster as its so easy to be block when your a small guy. i really do think that 2k needs to remove a lot of animation that is unnecessary to make this game more fluid and just add a basic manoeuvres.

I don't know WHY Floaters are no longer separate animations. We used to be able to select the Floater Animations for each player, then they took them out.

Along with this, I always felt 2K was hindering itself with wanting to group so many things together for no reason.

Re: 2K18: Proposed Layup Packages

First they should make layups not be so easy to block. That speed boost defense gets at the rim is ridiculous. But it is only justified because of poor defensive mechanics in the game
