Each player should have a "Dunk in traffic" tendency

It would make things a lot more realistic. Guys like shaq would have a 99 in this tendency and guys like Spud webb would have a 0. Tired of seeing Spud Webb dunking on people but then see shaq attempting layups when he's directly under the rim with a defender on him. Essentially this would be a contact dunk tendency.

For a more Sim experience ya: contact dunk rating should influence outcomes more as well as the tendency rating.

With Spud, I wonder if he has the posterizer badge and if that is what's primarily triggering his animations?

No clue but his contact dunk attribute is a 25. He never dunked unless he was on the fast break, and he dunked a lot on the fast break. So instead of giving him such a high driving dunk tendency you could give him like a 50 driving dunk and a 0 dunk in traffic. It would look and feel more realistic

the problem with spudd is that the animation is triggering on what is considered an "open" dunk but the defender ends up sliding into the animation so contact dunk rating isnt playing into the dunk at all.

i 100% agree there needs to be a dunk in traffic tendency.. we already have a contested shot tendency, and have for years, so why not give us one for dunks especially when that has a huge impact on when guys dunk in the NBA.

exactly. You can already edit "dunk in traffic" tendency on slider so why not for each player? Shaq isn't nearly as dominant around the basket as he should be...

standing dunk tendency helps alot with that. get into the restricted area or right near it, throw an up fake then go for a dunk, or drop-step dunk out of the post, super reliable way to get the easy bucket or foul

Yea. Driving, Standing and Flashy aren't nearly as specific as they need to be
