Put one ok player on a team of scrubs (actually the worst players in the league, no ifs ands or buts), set your gameplan to feed that guy (not sure you can do this on current-gen?) and watch him lead your team to a 4 win season but average 50 points a game and make the all-star team and win MVP when you simulate. Don't try to win games, try to make the GOAT statistical player. Got Anthony Randolph in the HOF in 2k11 by letting him average 50/14 for his prime, before dropping to a measly 37/10, then getting traded and being a bench player averaging 9/6 the next year on a championship team.

I created a league full of high school teams and I'm going to follow one created player making up storylines for him and what not..in four years I'm going do the same for the college level, or he may decide to go overseas for a year and play in the euroleague like emannuel mudiay. Then obviously it's the nba

So if you play the game to intentionally make this happen, what do you really expect?

Basketball is BORING when its not competitive. Thats why people are anti-Warriors, its boring to watch them destroy teams every night.

Re: I built a Dynasty in MyLeague. What now?

Gotta find what's fun for you. I used to enjoy trying to drop 50+ with a superstar, playing loads of hero ball. Then I would form a big 3 and win multiple chips. Sometimes I would trade one star for another to mix it up. Eventually I found that making a realistic slider set/ roster with custom DC's and trying to play realistic is much more rewarding for me personally.

Maybe you need to up the difficulty for more of a challenge or you need a different style. Maybe a slider set from this forum will help or maybe you can trade away your players for draft picks and try to build your team from the ground up? You can set your own house rules so you can't sign players over a certain overall.

Or if none of that works, maybe you need to try my team or some other mode or worst case find another entirely different game you enjoy. Good luck dude

I'd build a dynasty from the ground up. Do an expansion MyLeague/MyGM where you can only build from within/sign FA <75 overall. Put constraints in place to make it as hard as possible to duplicate the success you've had with your Bulls.

Re: I built a Dynasty in MyLeague. What now?

I traded Rondo and Lopez to Miami for Whiteside and Austin Rivers(he was traded) in the off season.

Realism is in the eye of the beholder. Years ago, people would have had a straight conniption had Lebron left and joined Wade in Miami through the game or Durant leaving for the Warriors. Now these are all real possibilities so play it however you like.

I agree, the trade and signing logic is flawed but nothing surprises me in the NBA anymore.

This is too true. The #1 exploit that I require myself to refrain from is signing the top FAs then quickly trading them for whatever you want. You can do this in NBA 2k and MLB the show and it breaks the game.
