10 Day contracts

Is it possible to sign players to 10 day contracts, or is the option only there for looks? I am after the trade deadline when the rule is allowed, and even the lowest rated FA has no interest in a 10 day contract. Any idea if it works?

I've definitely done it before in 2k17, although I forget who it was. I'd try to do it with guys under 25, as I'd assume the the veterans have no interest in that.

I've been trying also, I even went and changed the lowest rated free agent's "financial security" trait to zero, and contract negotiation setting to zero, and still no luck. In fact the bar where it shows the players level of interest is always completely empty.

Whats the deal?

I also tried this, and same results. Wonder if there is a fix

Anyone have an answer to this I would really like to figure out a way for 10 day congrats to work. Thanks

Haven't had any luck either. Even tried to sign a 40 overall rated CAP and he kept declining smh.
