Why does 2K punish offline players? (PC)

I bought 2K on steam a while ago on my new gaming laptop. But I have to play offline because I don't have internet at home so I have to play offline. All I want to do is enjoy My Career to its full ability. But 2K limits the hell of the game offline for My Career. You can't edit ANYTHING of your player offline other than his appearance and atrributes. No signature moves what so ever.

Why?

Because they want to spend VC for that? Its really dissappointing.

If you are playing an offline career you cant cheat.

Using it for an online myplayer could get you banned but your 1st post stated you playing offline mycareer so you are good to use this to change animations and ratings.

Kind of ridiculous you have to use an tool to do things in a game that you should already be allowed to do.

I agree, it seems ever since 2K introduce VC, they more and more reduced the offline mode each year.

I remember the good ol 2K10 days where you didn't have to buy accessories and moves. You simply played and made your character better.
