Start today not initializing playoffs

For some reason, the "start today" option in myleague is not starting the nba playoffs. Try it yourself. The playoff screen is completely blank as if no one made the playoffs. Nice one, 2k. The season is done, everybody knows the seeding. This has got to be a glitch, it must.

Yes I just posted about this as well kind of nullifies it at this point as I wanted to go to the playoffs and right into the offseason.

Where did you post? 2k has to know about this. This is beyond unacceptable. How the hell do you have a playoff with no teams?!

The other issue is that you cannot set your draft class

I used Start Today, today, and it started by showing me the season awards. Seemed to be just fine.

Only issue I noticed was they didnt give me the option of downloading a draft class or creating one. I was able to go to scouting and then I was able to DL a draft class I wanted.

The playoff seeding was showing for me too, so I assume I will be able to play those games.

I made a few My League Start Todays, over the last few days, so I will have a few files on hand, so if I dont buy NBA2k18, I will have the 2017-18 season ready for next season, with using a real draft class.

Any of you tweet? (I don't). I say that. Whatever way though, they have to know about this. Its so bush league of an issue for a major sports game to have that it almost feels...deliberate?

Haha...it's not deliberate...likely just not tested well enough.

I'm guessing the playoff section will fix after a game is played or something...the draft is more concerning IMO because that functionality probably isn't built in past the regular season.

Thought I would start mine up again, to look at it, just to see and sure enough, I have the same bug as you all do. I know when I shut it off yesterday, it was fine, but not now.

I remember back when they had this feature in the game on old gen, that at season end, Start Today was no longer playable. Thats 1 reason why for the last few days I went thru and saved a few Start Today Associations, just in case, as I have learned over the years, you can never be too careful with having extra files, especially when it comes with NBA2k:wink:

You can import draft classes through the scouting menu and the lottery corrects itself once you actually run it (pics below). If you notice there's a 0% chance to win for the teams that aren't supposed to be there. The only problem is not being able to play the playoffs and I'm hoping that corrects itself once the playoffs actually start in real life.

Upon Entering the Draft Lottery Menu:



After hitting X (PS4) and running lottery:



edit: If go to the next season, it doesn't name the team that won the 16/17 Championship. All other awards are there, but no championship team. It's like the playoffs are simmed without any teams playing.

so basically we get right back to the original problem...It would be a bit too tedious to put all of the players into free agency.
