PNO Players OS Playoff Series

Hello everyone.

A couple of weeks ago I played an amazing playoff series vs Coach2k using 12 min quarters and realistic sliders. It was some of the best fun I've had playing 2k, however, I realised that this is not an easily accessible format for most players.
I was in the OS based league that used a similar format, but due to the time demands, could not commit unfortunately.

I have moved to playing PNO predominantly, but its frustrating playing against sub par opponents consistently, or getting cheesed out. A lot of other PNO players in the thread have requested tourneys or money games to make the mode more exciting.

While I am hesitant to put money on the line, I am willing to try and organise a special OS playoff bracket.

The idea is to essentially create a PNO playoffs.

16 teams from any era, seeded by team OVR rating or PNO win %.

Traditional 7 game series, but with 6 min quarters, and Hall of Fame default settings.

The playoff bracket would be created by simming a short MLO season, with me determining the winners so that the seeding is fair.

All rosters would be full strength, so if you're a sixers fan, you can use your team!

We would advance each round every week, or as soon as every game is completed. The onus is on you as a player to add your opponent and organise a game within the time frame.

If you're interested, put down your PSN and your team of choice. Teams will be taken on a first come, first served basis.

If you could use PSN record to record your game, it would be awesome to see the sort of matchups people are having. Home team records the game - you can do this by
a) streaming your game and recording the stream - although this is not advisable unless you have very fast internet
b) setting on your PS4 to record for 40mins or an hour and as soon as the game is finished, saving using the share button.

This thread will serve as the basis in which the bracket will be viewable, stats and game videos will be posted.

As soon as we have 16 teams down, I will create the mini MLO season and post the bracket.

I feel like we've played a couple times in PNO!

I wish there was a way to see your head to head history ha.

Hopefully we face off again in this tourney!

Also if anyone knows anyone who'd be interested please recommend this thread, kinda itching to get it underway.

Now that you've mentioned it, your PSN sounds familiar. We must have played at least once.
By the way, it's strange that there aren't more people interested so far. It's either that not enough players browse this forum or PNO is slowly dying off, which really saddens me.
