To people with 55-60 3PT Shooting - how have you adjusted post patch? Any tips?

To quote Mike Wang:

Mike Wang Quotes:
- "non-shooters got a nerf."
- "Glass, Lockdowns, and Slashers were never meant to be viable 3PT threats."
- non-shooters= anyone not "High 70s, low 80s" in shooting.
My LDD was a pretty "viable" 3 point threat and isn't really anymore.

How is everyone else's experience? Have you made adjustments, are you feeling nerfed?

Personally, I found that Hot Spots + Grand Badge seems to be a requirement now. How have the rest of you been adjusting? Looking for tips.

Before the patch I was shooting almost 60% with my LDD and paint protector. Immediately after the patch I could hit the three at around 40%. That's still a reliable shot. I've stopped taking as many threes though I set more screens (on ball or offball), take more midrange shots , and look to pass first now. I don't even stay in corners as much I let the shooters have the corners .

Now it's been adjusted to where I can get green lights again. But I still don't shoot as much. Before or after the patch I've been able to shoot better than a lot of sharpshooters which is crazy.

Before the patch I could hit 10 threes a game easily. After the patch I take 2-3 a game .

Which seems more in line with what you should be hitting as an LDD. 40% on smart, open corner 3 pointers.

What release do you use and do you use the shot stick?

I've used John Wall since 2k14 (15?). Consistency is key. I never have to "learn" a new jumper the timing is always similar every year.

I use the face button. I only use the shot stick for floaters.

Gotchya. Release 33 has been mine for a couple years. You are right, consistency is key. I use shot stick for just about everything.

I post up with my Post Scorer, LDDs and Glass Cleaner...

And I made sure I upgraded my strength unlike other players.

So I am strong as hell. I force people to guard me in the post and I pass the ball.

I don't see the point in shooting 3s...I only shoot 3s every once in a while.

Why not upgrade both ? I did. I can hit post fades , drop steps , and corner threes. Not to mention max strength.
