Since they implemented this new motion system. I'm hoping that next year they will work with the defense side of things.

This is cool.

Just one small piece in the giant puzzle of having 10 guys on the court interact with each other though....

Re: Footplanting and real physics for 2k18 and beyond..

Back in 2017 i created this thread and now coming to NBA 2K20 we get some hope, at least that we know from gameplay blog that a good attention has been paid to NBA 2K20 footplanting and motion systems. Let's hope for good things to come and progress over the years.

This thread in 2017 and seeing 2K devs on improvements detailed for 2K20 show some way of 2k gameplay developpers team really listen to what we want.

2K20 Demo can't get here soon enough...

Re: Footplanting and real physics for 2k18 and beyond..

I really appreciate the way 2K is swinging BIG prior to the next gen launch. They did a nice job with 2K14 in the same respect, but to really implement something as game changing (and potentially game breaking) as this new motion/foot planting stuff shows that they're not afraid to take risks. Something that could make the game feel totally different is a risk - and I love that 2K are still willing to go there.

From what Czar is saying on his streams, the new motion system is actually the main thing I am REALLY looking forward to feeling out when the demo drops.

Love it!
