image.gifthis is a PC mod. These subtle changes make a huge difference in the player models. I know this isn't a the PC forum, but it's just something to discuss while we wait for 2k18. I'm hoping they can revamp the models in general, but at the very least update the star players.

I haven't checked the modding community for awhile until a few days ago and man they got some stuff up to make the game look more authentic. One thing that someone is finally fixing is the damn waist line of the players.

I'm such a huge Lebron fan that it's hard to unsee the default version now. He looks like a caveman in comparison. The modders do such great work with classic unis and face scans.

I have to play with retro Lebron teams because I just can't play with Cavs cankle-version Lebron anymore.

Wow! LeBron looks much better in that PC mod. It now stinks that I have to play with the default one on X1. 2k should partner with PC Modders in regards to face scans.

I just don't understand how modders (who aren't getting payed!) do a better job on this stuff than 2k does (the people being PAID to do this stuff)

Seeing things like this makes me want to invest in a gaming PC! The game can be so much more authentic on PC!

Not likely. 2K's art team has missed the mark pretty spectacularly with player models.

For instance, most players don't have custom sliders for wingspan, shoulders, body length.

Then you have cankles, shorts that are too long, Lebron looks like a brown square, the Steph/Giannis body type, the generated CAPs all look like monsters, many players still have their 2015/2016 models
