Why did MyTeam become this way

Last year there were only 5 total 99 overall players in MyTeam...

This year there are 15 players that are 99 overalls and there are also countless others with 25 intangibles who would be a 99 overall if 2k just raised their intangibles a little bit.

I mean this is just ridiculous now. Charles Barkley, Michael Jordan, Kobe Bryant, Elgin Baylor, Karl Malone, Russell Westbrook + countless more are basically all the same players with exception to height and a few other things because they all have crazy high attributes.

99 Barkley and 99 Jordan don't have any attributes below an 80. I mean come on it's not even like you're playing with MJ or Barkley anymore.

I thought the whole point of 2k getting rid of the dynamic ratings cards was to "put more value" on the moments cards? There's literally no point in getting a ruby Kristaps Porzingis when there are so many other cards in the game where the player barley has any attributes below a 70 or 80

Madden has done the same thing and I've always found it pointless. I don't understand it.

It completely destroys the value of the lower rated players. They should go back to how it was last year where it's very rare to see someone with a 99 overall on their team

That's why I stopped playing it the last few years. Those Jamal Crawford , JR Snith etc are basically Kobe Bryant cards for example.
