Re-downloaded 2K15 and ran into issues

I re-downloaded 2K15 yesterday, as I wanted to dive back into a MyLeague file I had on the game. I fired it up today and I guess since the servers are offline, all of my files (settings, sliders, MyLeague save) wound up being corrupted. That seems odd to me, seeing as how those files weren't tied to online connectivity, or at least that's what I thought.

Not the end of the world, but just seemed off to me when all I did was re-download the game.
