Worth $20?

Was thinking abut picking this up at GameStop for $20 but I always see it's rated badly. Everyone says how broken it is. Like the AI defense, CPU cheating, etc

Thing is have they patched it enough where it's worth $20? It's doesn't have to be perfect I just wanna know if for $20 I can enjoy the game enough to get my money's worth

I appreciate any opinions

If you're planning to play online mostly then no.

Mainly plan on the career mode and doing the game mode similar to Maddens ultimate team

I'd recommend offline MyLeague, with SonicMage's Roster/SimWorld sliders.

Great, GREAT gameplay.

MyCareer, you can't edit sliders or rosters so if you get cheesed by the CPU, you can't do anything about it.

Online has never been my thing so I can't speak on that.

Just wait until NBA2k18, at this point -- why? I mean I can kind of understand, I like the court creator features and stuff, but I'm just waiting until mid-September. I try to upgrade every two years or so.
