When healthy Embiid is easily the better player. He has even more potential than Booker held back only by injuries.

Embiid is a better player and therefore deserves higher ratings than Devin Booker. Is he hurt a lot? Yep. That's why his durability and injury ratings should be low, but his actual skill stats should be high.

Every time you respond to someone saying Embiid is better, you talk about how little he plays. That's why there are durability ratings. Is Booker a more available player and is that trait valued in the NBA? Of course. Frank Gore has played 80 straight NFL games, Adrian Peterson has played two full seasons in the past 7 years. Is Gore better than Peterson? Not at all.

Kevin Durant has played 82 games once in his career (80+ three other times), AC Green once played 1,192 consecutive games. Who is better?

Shaquille O'Neal has never played 82 games in his career, Tristan Thompson played 82 games four seasons straight from 2012-2016 and 447 games consecutive.

Embiid obviously has more worrying injury concerns, but I was trying to display that just because someone is more available doesn't mean they are the better player.

The way the nba is setup the center position is like the rb now. A pure scorer who can interchange positions is more important

But we arent just talking about scoring ability and offensive capabilities we are talking about an overall score. When you factor in attributes like defense and rebounding that overall is going to change. Plus based strictly on the numbers Embiid is just as capable of scorer as Booker. His 3 point shooting percentage is actually better than Booker's and he only average 2 points less per game last season. Sure a much smaller sample size but when you compare the numbers it isn't unreasonable to come to a conclusion that Emiid is as good, if not better than, Booker.
