I recall a little blurb in a blog years ago about a 4th quarter lift in atmosphere in 2K15 I think..... and it kinda fizzled into nothing.

Playoff atmosphere (in franchise modes at least) is honestly broken at the moment and has been pretty bad for 2 straight games now. This needs to be addressed ASAP..

I have become use to not even getting my hopes up for certain areas in these sports game development cycles. For 2k it is the crowd atmosphere and with mlb the show the commentary development. If it happens one of these cycles kudos to them and i would consider it a miracle achievement.

I gave up on this a long time ago.

They've been screaming that improvement mess for years only for it to be exactly the same or worse in some cases.

I'm not holding my breath on them finally fixing it this year or ever for that matter. Waste of time honestly.

Over 450 players in the NBA at one particular time, 30 different arena PA announcers. Have to do home and away for all players. So that's like 900x30 as the bare minimum rough estimate. Now throw In every name in the 2k database for created guys to be included, and some arenas like MSG have more than one PA Guy, and they'd probably have to pay each individual PA announcer....so yeah, I don't think we'll ever see that.

Mr. Mike Wang was at EA when they push the line for atmostphere🤔 he should go to the audio team and drop live 10 on every desk there and bounce.
