NBA 2K17 (PC) constant crashing

I bought NBA 2K17 on PC recently. I've tried other games no problem. NBA 2K16 works fine as well. Now when I say crash I mean it will just randomly completely close. No notification or error messages at all. Just closes. Now, I'm pretty sure it's happened outside of what I'm about to say, but I think I might have found a pattern. It happens almost every time I'm trying to create a MyLeague expansion team. Sometimes it will last for 5-10 minutes then just randomly close the game. It never fails. Can anyone please help?

Looks like your Nvidia driver version is up to date, so no issue there. Maybe check your CPU and vid card temps? That's what I would think of first for a random crash like that. Otherwise, it may just be some internal error within the 2k17 executable, not sure if a reinstall is possible/practical for you? Are you using Steam?

Yeah check the cpu and turn the settings down a bit as well... if you have everything on ultra

Yes, I am playing it on Steam. I checked temps 40c max for GPU and 42c max for CPU when it randomly closed.

If you have one of those factory overclocked cards try adjusting it down to the base freq. The last card I had gave me trouble until I did that.
