That's just the harsh reality of the situation.

Nearly all the main modes revolve around them (MyCareer, MyPark, Pro-Am, and to a lesser extent, MyLeague with draft classes)
The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask was mostly recycled from Ocarina of Time.

For the same reason 2K is: one year of development time.

Nobody cares now, because AWESOME.

The boiler in the hype train needs a LOT more stoking.

At this rate we will never get enough speed to persuade me to preorder.

More info, less back patting bluster.

I'm sure a lot of people will care if no improvements are made to the CAP system this year.

Body types & hair styles are #1 & #2 on so many people's wishlist

I won't care. The players could be XKCD-style stick figures for all I care.

What matters is how the game plays ON THE COURT.

Obviously, having both look great would be ideal.
But given the choice, I'll take gameplay over graphics any day, and so should you.

Well unfortunately, you don't speak for the entire community dude. Not everybody can look past the awful faces, hair styles, and body type for 4 straight years. That's an incredibly long time. Like who wants to look the same, each and every year? It would be different if the game wasn't basically marketed around the created player aspect, but that's not even the case. And it ain't like people just started begging for this stuff, either.

And I'm honestly tired of people always running to the "gameplay is what should matter most" line, when someone expresses the desire for improvements in other areas. Like duh, we all know how important gameplay is.... But when a certain area of the game (that's such a huge focal point of the entire series) just gets completely ignored for 3-4 straight years, people have every right to point it out and demand changes.

Also the gameplay as it is right now isn't great but it's still enjoyable. It's playable.

The CAP system is awful.

Point being the CAP system needs upgrading MORE than the gameplay because it's about 5 years behind where it should be whereas at least the gameplay gets touched up each year.
