My guess it that 2k doesn't do this for 2 reasons:

1. License cost. Might not be worth it to them when they they can mimick TV presentation with their own overlays and use actual broadcasters, announcers, and other tv personalities. Which bring me too..

2. Not being tied down to one company and their standards. Right now they have personalities from both ESPN and TNT which allows them to have the best of both worlds. On top of that they are able to do what they want. No TNT or ESPN telling them what they can and can't do. They had the ESPN license back in the day and maybe that experience turned them off from getting a TV license again.


EDIT: Getting back on topic, weird the video isn't officially ou yet but glad to see I'm not the only one unable to watch the video. I thought it was something with my phone and connection. Kept refreshing the page to see if it would actually load.

Same here tbh, but this is honestly so much better than what we've had before lol. I'm just happy Default CAPs finally look human lol
