Wizards and Clippers left out

With 4-5 teams finally getting a classic team in Grizzlies, Nets, Pelicans, Pacers and Kings, it seems odd to leave the Wiz and Clippers hanging. I really wonder why they couldn't find a classic team for either. There's Ron Harper, Mark Jackson, Cassell, Magette, Elton Brand so maybe the likes of Mobley or Manning said no? Did they try?

The problem with the Wiz is that any classic team would be the Bullets, which they've intentionally gone away from, and after that the only noticeable Wizards team would have Gilbert Arenas on it, someone they may not want in the game due to the whole gun thing.

That being said, I do wish there was a prime Arenas in the game; one of the few non Nets players i was a big fan of. I have a gold alt Jersey of his in the closet.

I would've been MORE than happy to see an MJ Wizards team.

I would have been happy with the 1997-98 Washington Wizards with C-Webb, Juwan Howard, Calbert Chaney, Rod Strickland, Tracy Murray, etc.

The Odom clippers would be what I would like to see, but don't see 2k adding Odom in anytime soon. 🤔 96-97 clippers might have a chance but assuming they would need to pick up Wright, Piatowski, and Martin right. I'm not sure why they could not fit 05-06 maybe no rights to Mobley and Radmonovic

You know, i thought Webber was already in Sacramento by the time the name change happened. I take back what i said. Its probably one of the few teams
in its history they could have used.

We should see a 2002 Wizards & maybe a 2006 Clippers team within the next couple of years.

2k's released 28 new historic teams through the last 3 games, so no reason for them to abruptly stop. Hopefully the wait isn't as long as it was between 2k12 & 2k16.

I would've liked either the Elton Brand team or the Danny Manning playoff team for the Clippers.
