NBA2K18 Run The Neighborhood Event

There is speculation that this is the new Team Up event. It's hosted in NYC next Thursday, August 31st, and will be streamed live (On FB, I believe, could be twitch though) at 6:30 PM EST.

Some YouTubers are posting about getting invited.

If you're hoping for more WillieLeaks (the wikileaks pun sounded good in my head, willileaks sounds... anyway lmao) they won't be necessary. As I said, the event will be streamed live so we should be able to get plenty glimpses of gameplay.

but with all the promises from 2k17 regarding pro am/park, ill take the wait and see approach. then if it is all they say it will be - will the servers work?..

Exactly! No other company does this with their games. You will see gameplay blogs about Madden sometimes 2 and a half months before release. We are 3 weeks from release and don't know anything about what has been done to the defensive side of the ball, the consensus biggest issue with 2k17.

If your like me and are still making a buy/don't buy decision, this is not helpful. The lack of information concerning gameplay this close from release is something only done by this particular series.

Todays blog has me real excited to see HD gameplay from the developers!

Can someone explain how Thursdays event will work? I'm assuming we'll get HD gameplay from the developers, but is it all focused on The Park? Any chance we'll get some User vs CPU gameplay on Superstar..

Going to need 2k to go really in depth with the CAP system tomorrow. With the addition of All-time teams, creating missing legends are going to be a huge deal this year.

I wanna see how everything works (in terms of face sculpting) + all the new hairstyles & body types.
