No Bryon Russell probably either on 97-98 team, but at least some players from different eras. Eaton and Kirilenko are cool! Why in the world would Maravich be in as a Jazz though??? He played 17 games at the end of his career..

The Jazz originated in New Orleans. The NOJ on his Basketball Reference is the same squad as UTA.

Yep. Kind of one of those things where some team names make a lot more sense when you realize where they originated. Utah Jazz is just about a non-sequitur. Ditto Los Angeles Lakers.
