People have been saying this ".5" stuff off of shaky cam footage for years...It's one complaint that never actually carries over to release.

Trust the Pre Release Process

I personally cant even bring myself to check these out tbh

And that folks is how you nullify a gameplay blog. 2k should learn by now that we need official footage to actually see the changes first hand from the devs themselves.

*sigh* someday....

On a positive note I'm so HAPPY that they put playcall back to the LB button.

I really don't get why 2K doesn't let the guys who they flew out to play the game early just capture footage and upload it to their channels. The gameplay here in this shaky cam footage looks complete trash, but i'm almost 100% sure this isn't an accurate representation of 2K18. You'd think they would know people would record off screen footage at playable events like they did with this video. Why not just release captured gameplay from when annoying tv, dman, and the other guys went out? I don't know man. The whole thing just seems *** backwards to me.

This shaky cam stuff isn't a good look man. Since this is the only true 5v5 gameplay we've seen, this is all we can form our opinions off of. So far my opinion is that the game looks kinda garbage. I hope we get HD Footage soon people.

Yeah I couldn't agree more with this.

I mean, we know this happens every year. But it doesn't change the fact that it's crap every time.

Way I see it, 2K has 3 real options with this.

1. Pre-empt the rubbish footage by showing better quality footage first (as per above post) - let's face it, this will NEVER happen

2. Tighten the screws on the leaked phone ghetto rubbish footage that seems to do nothing but make some people nervous. I mean, check phones at the door or something. Surely this couldn't be that hard....

3. Leave everything as is (I'd bank on this being the chosen path)

But logically speaking, it just doesn't make sense that a company that treats marketing with such importance prior to it's games release, lets these POOR representations of the game leak out and create degrees of panic.

I've seen a few posts today that say "not buying anymore" and "2K17.5" etc. etc.

And for the record, I personally watch them because I check out everything pre-release. And I am not influenced the slightest by ghetto footage. I will buy the game every year guaranteed.

I just don't understand 2K allowing vids like this to exist.
