I get your point but, much like other aspects of the game, I'm sure they are constantly adjusting and tweaking ratings before launch, just like how we have noticed player faces change over the course of the last couple weeks. We all know these ratings aren't set in stone which is why I find it amusing how controversial ratings are each year. The overalls are going to change regardless what does it matter if it happens now and then again once the season starts?

Maybe I'm just biased, but I feel like Middleton is underrated here.

Every year man! Some people take it personal as if they are the ones being rated and graded. I just think it's a lot of fuss over nothing. The ratings will fluctuate throughout the season anyway and if people are really unsatisfied they can change the ratings themselves or wait for someone to release their own modified roster (which will likely drop within a week of release if not days after).

I also stand by waiting until we see the full ratings for players. Seeing 82 next to Wade doesn't tell me what areas he might be underrated. The overalls might make more sense one we see their full attributes and understand how the ratings are weighted

He is, solid 3 and D guy, I know he wasn't as good after coming back, but he was still pretty good.

I don't understand why CJ gets an 86 while BB gets an 87, but then again - Jokic got an 88 after Nurkic killed his team last March and sent'em to an early vacay, so I guess it fits the pattern.

Or defense, he is a horrible defender. To have a 95 he must be maxed at every offensive category or they gave way better defensive ratings than he deserves.
