Waiting for a video of map size comparison of this vs. GTA 5 and Just Cause 3.

As someone who doesn't play all these other modes, I sometimes wonder how crazy the actual game would play and look if they didn't use all those resources on all the other stuff.

Cool stuff tho, if that's what you're into.

Storyline driven MyGM, Open World MyCareer, way better graphics, more customization.... I have a good feeling about this 2k.

Looks great. I already preordered Live, but if gameplay's good, this'll be a Black Friday pickup for sure.

Re: NBA 2K18 Run The Neighborhood Trailer and Details

Why is everyone so impressed with this?

So instead of easily upgrading in the menu I have to load a long loading screen of a neighborhood and run through a bunch of clowns to get to a shop and then pay VC for a haircut??

Instead of easily changing my shoes I now have to load a long loading screen and run to foot locker. Why does this sound good?

They can make anything look good on a trailer, but they are just making everything you do take longer and cost more. Don't people just want to play basketball and easily change shoes and stuff?

The only notable thing they mentioned is an arcade, to play with friends, and honestly that's minor.

They will probably start you at a 55 rating again, yet somehow your a top stud college prospect.

This is just sad, another year of great marketing but this is one of the worst features to ever be added to a 2k game. I can't imagine the countless hours that were wasted programming this just so some loser could pretend he's walking into a real foot locker. I can't believe they would waste so much valuable time. Sounds like a clever way to vc grab at more fun neighborhood shops. Can't believe people are excited for this (and 2k has good gameplay and insane editing. Props. So don't think I just hate the game, just very upset that they would bring in such a bad feature ( *done with rant*

Between MyCareer, MyTeam, MyGM, and MyLeague, that's four distinct (and superbly deep) modes of gameplay -- essentially, four games in one.

Add in the Play Now online aspect of it, and Online MyLeague, and you have the deepest sports game this generation. Very impressive.
This is no different than last year.

Also, please do not count Online MyLeague at all on lists of "modes" even though it is technically one. Any MLO player of past and present would laugh at that.
