I think this is more balanced than I first thought. The word on reddit was the same as what Rockie is saying. To add, something along the lines of Defender+Defender gets HOF defensive stopped, some combinations don't even get gold.

If that's true, you might see more versatile but still specialized roles. That could lead to more variety in games in park or pro am

That is pretty cool. I don't usually go too deep with MyPlayer (i don't like the whole "start off as an awful player and spend heaps of time/VC training before you become any good, in a videogame" thing), but this looks quite cool!! Especially if the rumours are true about there being less grind
