It's really disappointing man. It's an entire dimension of making generated players unique from each other that will be missing from MyLeague once again.

It just doesn't make any sense why it gets omitted.

Man I feel for you guys. That's why I went the PC route. Its night and day. Especially in the area of editing. You can basically do anything.

Im solely Myleague so having realistic looking draft classes is a big deal for me. With the PC you can make LeBron bald lol

I'm waiting to see the CAP in action to buy the game. If every player end up looking the same (i feel it's going to be even less diverse than last year, even if the faces look better) i'm going back to PC. I could create so many different looking players on PC for 2k13, the only problem is i had to create most draft classes, while on PS4 there is so much of them you can download that i could actually play the game a lot more.

I'm also sure it's related to the usage of player likeness and that putting any tattoo you want on a real player, even if it's a CAP of said player, can get them in trouble. I highly doubt they took away the ability to add tattoos because they wanted to flip the community the bird.
I just want to know how the WWE games are able to avoid this legal process if that is indeed the reason.

Now if they took the simple route and tried to mimic last gen where you couldn't layer and drag people would be mad that it's not the same. But think for a second, imagine the memory needed for the game having to keep track of all those assets on screen at once. At most, the WWE games have probably 8 guys on screen max with a smaller arena and way less other things going on(this also completely disregards that the WWE games aren't made by the same studio but that's not the point). Imagine the game having 15 created guys on each team, fully covered in tattoos, layered to the max along with a created arena, created uniforms, etc. I'm sure you can see where I'm going with this and how that could probably cause major problems for them.

Personally, I'd love to see it return so my draft classes can be even more unique, etc. but I also know it's probably not feasible unless they go the last gen route. If they do that, I wouldn't complain, but I'm sure many will.
This! As an avid ML gamer of course I want tats. I want the same tat suite as MC. But like you said, it's probably has something to do coding. Davez and crew threw in coach and system editing at the last minute after saying that it wouldn't be in 2K18. These guys are dedicated. If he says it's tough, I believe him. 2K15 had CAPs with tats. You couldnt change them but they were there. Something like that may be a compromise until they figure it out.

I wonder if it's something that could be patched in?

At this point I agree that there's a reason why but how about just addressing what it is so everyone can just rant about it one good time and move on. Ignoring it just causes for speculation about why not, about how simple it would be to do it and so on.
