I only look at sliders and rosters once the game drops. I'll probably bookmark the jersey creator thread so I can avoid the other threads.

I don't. I've learned to take everything here with a grain of salt. At the end of the day, my experience is my own. So many people crowded this forum and twitter, screaming about how awful the game was at launch last year. While it was, in no means perfect, I thought it was the best 2K had done since 2K11. Yet people were calling it broken, mainly because they couldn't get a highlight every play.

I'm able to weed out what are clearly sensationalist temper tantrums about how broken the game is, or even ones at the other end of the spectrum claiming how perfect it is and excusing or denying anyone who says differently.

There are plenty nuggets of useful info here during launch. People finding good playbooks, sleeper MT cards, I learned better post moves here, as well as non-gameplay things, confirmed by people coming across the same scenario eg: not being able to upgrade free throws last year.

First 24-36 hours, I'll likely be completely engulfed in the game, barely even checking my phone, but I'll be here shortly after, looking to find some helpful information.

I get to play in the evening, so I'm on OS at work to read reviews and watch vids. Never detracted from my enjoyment.

I don't look for bugs or exploits, so no problem with me staying on here. As far as impressions, I'm getting the game regardless. Game has been buy-worthy for several years straight.

I think for the first time in many years I'm gonna do this. I'm not editing nothing...not coming up here to read for a long while and am just gonna ball outta the box. Going back to the 90's before patches, sliders and message boards lol.
