The fans didn't react because their home player got posterized.

The bench players did react. You can see them all move immediately after the dunk in the top left. You can also see, in the replay angle, one of them recoil in "disgust" on the far right in the background on the replay.

They did that in 2k17 too. Even so, the home crowd would have a reaction over a dunk like that no matter which team they were routing for. That AD dunk is a Deandre Jordan-Brandon Knight level dunk and all you see is a bunch of lifeless bodies

Like YannisLB said tho, do you know how crazy the cleveland crowd would be going if Lebron pulled that dunk off during a game?

Almost no reaction from the crowd. They stay in their seats and clap it up for a few seconds and that's about it...

That's not always the case though, especially with massive explosive dunks by the opposition. The aftershock could and would often resonate with the home crowd. Some stank face and OMG reactions and a respectable "ooh" reaction isn't too far fetched.

Without even watching, there's probably some home crowd reaction in the following video when the opposition comes equipped with a massive dunk.
