Has no one noticed that NBA 2K18 imports the face sides wrong? Never happened in other 2Ks but my left side is on the right in the game and vice versa. I know that because I have a small birth mark on one side.

Also you can build your face with the same scan multiple times (back out without saving). It will come out different every time.

The face scan took a huge step back this year. Last year it actually looked like me for the most part, but this year I can’t get a decent looking scan to save my life. They look fine in terms of being a person, but it never looks like me.

I agree that the 2k face scan is pretty poor this year. My NBA Live face scan came out really good, significantly better than 2k. I did both scans indoors under good lighting, but I might try doing the 2k one outside and see if it comes out better with natural light.

I always try face scan but I feel like white guys always look super off in the game. Same issue this year. Had my GF do my scan and then uploaded it and she was like yeah that looks nothing like you.

Man I miss the monsters from the first year of face scan.

The face scan this year is worse than it's ever been because I can't even edit anything on my face.

It's giving me the Dwyane Wade jaw lol like that's not even close to my face shape.

Usually it's like "Yea it looks like you but it could be better" now it's like idk who that is ..oh well

After numerous failed attempts with the app, I finally got around to doing it myself. It's not perfect, but infinitely better than any results I was getting using the app.

This was easier for me last year.

The one time I did get an accurate one it reset once I skipped the prelude lol.
