Is 2k going to update the player pictures in the game ?

I was watching the live stream & I saw players with basically in game images instead of real life images.

I think I heard they're being updated in the day 1 patch.

Probably waiting for training camp or preseason, so they can get people in the Nike Jerseys. I doubt Nike would be super happy with them having Addidas jerseys everywhere

I wish they all had in game pictures tbh. I just like that look better for a video game.

Most NBA team have their Media Day scheduled for the 25th (teams playing overseas at start of preseason will likely have theirs on 22nd); that is when each player gets pics taken. They even have the guys "turn around" and take pics at different intervals so that game companies can review for new tattoos/hairstyles/etc... obviously not as accurate as when companies do full scans themselves, but better than nothing!
