This is one of my favorite 2K legacy issues. One day I'd honestly love to stumble upon an official behind-the-scenes 2K video that finally reveals why things like this happen and can't be easily changed. I know there's got to be something to it, I just want to know exactly what it is.

Like, what is preventing a basketball hoop-head employee from swapping the two Elie's out for one another? I know we can do the same thing once we have the game, but it's more of a principled curiosity at this point.
