This is super late but I hardly played my Switch copy of 2K.

The off season, notably the free agent period, is very well done.

It's the closest to real life that I've seen. Players asking for Max money, signing large deals, managing the cap, almost all of it is in there.

Very impressed. Going to keep playing it as my basketball franchise sim.

Players have 0 awareness of surroundings or clock.

Too many times they will do long/lazy animations with 2 seconds on the clock or shot clock, they will spin in a post spin, pause, and sprint out of bounds.

No animation should trigger unless I triggered it.

In COD when you let go of the stick will you run 2 steps and crouch behind cover? In fifa when you let go of the stick will they do a step over and a fake pass?

So why is it in this game they do multiple non-momentum based, unasked for animations when you stop moving the stick?

The game looks smooth when you don't play it because its a bunch of long animations/ 2 man canned animations triggering.

Its not my controller, its not my anything the game just simply is based off triggering animations.

In a myleague with 90+ overall rated players but because their animations are garbage they are useless. A created shareef oneal off my bench is the star at 82 ovr because he triggers great animations.
