Don't worry! If you pre-ordered, you are getting the early tip-off edition. It will unlock at 9 PM your local time.

Well xbox one had two options. One for pre-order which comes out tonight. And one on the 18th....

If you're on XBOX 1, the store page is misleading. It says 9/18 in one area, and 9/15 in another. It says I own both, however, and when I click on the game at Microsoft.com it says it unlocks at 11pm tonight CST.

Long story short: If you pre-ordered it digitally, it will be unlocked at midnight tonight, EST.
