Thats the game now.No one is taking their guy online as a 55 ovr unles they have to. They want to have fun right away.

Im maxing my guy to an 85 as soon as I get him.

I dont plan on buying the game until at least the NBA season. I plan on using MyNBA2k quick games to farm VC. So I should I have a decent amount saved before I start.
I don't want to/plan on buying VC this year. In the past, I would just buy just enough to get to mid 70 so I can at least start off decently. But others want to buy VC so they can be competitive in the online circuit, then it is their choice. I dont play Online, so without the grind it wouldn't be fun. Plus I don't feel comfortable paying around $50 on top of $60, just so I'm instantly good. But if someone else does no judgement

My friends all bought $100 worth of VC after 10 minutes of us playing in the Park. The grind is one of the worst parts of the game and time is a precious commodity. Spending a few extra dollars to actually have fun while playing in the Park is worth it.
