Where to get early tip-off edition if i didn't preorder

As the title says..... where can i pick up a copy of Early Tip-Off if i didn't preorder the game??? Walmart??

Yeah, just picked up a copy at my local Walmart this morning. They had a ton of copies and were selling the tipoff and legendary editions.

Check your local retailers. Some will be selling it still regardless. If that seems to be a dead end, Mom And Pops stores will have it. The ones in my area had it Wednesday or Thursday afternoon at the latest.

I just preordered the digital version on the PlayStation store. It said I'd be able to play it today, but I don't see it. Went to the game screen in the ps store again, and now it says coming 9/19. What's up with that?

I can confirm that walmarts have plenty of both editions. Just got mine from there. Knew there wasn't a reason to pre-order

There's no reason to really preorder any games these days. There's always extra copies at stores. Only reason to preorder is if you don't want to leave your house so you have shipped direct.

The OP question doesn't make sense to me. The whole purpose of having the early tip-off edition is as an incentive for people who pre-ordered.

Any store that tries to sell you the early tip-off edition before Tuesday is essentially breaking street date.

Naw, not really. The game is basically on sale everywhere today. Same thing with last year and I didn't pre-order. You gotta maximize those profits.

Then what you're saying is pre-ordering was meaningless, especially if they're selling the version that includes the early tip-off codes.

And breaking street date hurts the bottom line of retailers, not helps them.

If Walmart and Target actually are breaking street date right now, then combined with the mess of Amazon not carrying physical copies for Prime members, this release has been one big mess.
