Custom draft class in MyGM?

Am I crazy or can we not load a custom draft class in MyGM? I could do it in MyLeague but I never got the option to in MyGM.

That's not true. It was there last year and the year before. I played MyGM for over 20 seasons both years.

Right after you would finish talking to the Owner, you would go to the calendar and it would show you Load Custom Draft Class options.

Well that makes the MyGm vs MyLeague option easy.

Not sure why they would do that though.

Yea but I wanted to explore this "story" thing with MyGM this year. Ugh, disappointing.

Same with starting as an expansion team. Took that out as well.

You cannot upload a custom roster either. I wanted to update the rosters with players correct heights and edited some potentials, but it won't allow you to upload it in MyGM. I wanted to explore the new MyGM features also...

Maybe to prevent from people loading overpowered draft classes to win a game mode?

Or maybe Jackson Ellis is in the MyGM draft?!?

Uhhh... yea, sadly I agree.

I thought perhaps it was because was going to be a story mode to justify it. Admittedly, I'm only through the first couple months of the mode, but there doesn't appear to be additional story to justify the change. It's largely the same the game mode with slightly better looking meeting scenes. Most interactions are the same dialogues as last year's game.

It's not voiced. Obviously, it'd be cumbersome to voice head coaches and players, but not even fictional staff/owner interactions are voiced, so that's not an added bonus either.

On the whole, the loss of customization is a pretty large step back without compensation of a new experience.

The first year of MyGM is the only year that's different than in the past. There's a little storyline where you butt heads with an owner, and have to make a few decisions. Once you get to the first off season (and make your choice between owners), you can upload a custom draft class for season 2, and beyond. The first draft class is a part of the storyline in season 1.

The sky isn't falling, they just tried something new with the mode, to differentiate from MyLeague.
