2K18 - Unable to join Team Pro Am arena (Region Lock?)

You can but you need to buy the game using US PSN account. Basically 2K Support told me to buy the game again.

Its somehow true. I'm using PSN Asia and had bought a game in NZ which does not allow me to play with my friends in Asia. What I did was, I return the CD and bought a digital copy at PSN Asia which matches my PSN account. The only thing that works though is the Neighbourhood and PROAM Walk on but not My TEAM PROAM which I believe we all need.


I had logged the case but so far no reply for 2K support.

I can see 86+ overalls (meaning they bought VC, and obv they have to buy it from an account with the same region of their game) from Uk and Germany right now. pretty sure it's fixed, altho cant know for sure as none of my friends are on right now. Can anyone test it?

I mean it's 2018 that's beside, 2k isn't the only game that is played online, there are a lot of games out there played online with 10x more people than 2k and yet 2k, every and each year gives us something new to deal. I don't get this, i don't get it at all!!!

I was able to test it after I wrote that comment, the region lock is disabled.

Thank you for contacting 2K support.
I'm sorry that you can't join your friends online, I would be bored too haha, not to worry, let's fix this issue.
I would kindly want to know if you patched(updated) your NBA 2K18 after 9/18/2017?
If you did not, please do so as the patch(update) will resolve the online issue : ).
Please keep me updated on how it turned out .
If you have anymore 2K related questions.feel free to contact us .
I haven't tested it out yet and will try tonight.
