Playground for me, believe that's where most are crashing and losing their saves.

To clarify...my MyPlayer should be "safe" as long as I stick to the offline mode? If I play in the Playground, there's the risk that it might get deleted? Am I understanding this correctly?

I have 3 myplayers and over 100 games in the park, your myplayer is safe bro.

Nope that isn't true at all unfortunately. I haven't played a single playground game only the MyCareer season games vs the CPU and mine still got deleted.

Trust me I'm 100% positive about this. The only "Playground" games I've played are the ones at the very beginning when you first make your player and you have to play those 2 or 3 games like during the Prelude and even that is just vs the CPU. After that I haven't played a single Playground game, only MyCareer season games vs the CPU and mine still got deleted.

I was playing MyCareer when i just purchased some new shoes at Footlocker then walked across the street to the NBA store to buy some equipment when i received a message saying something to the effect of there being an error. I left the store then walked back in and received the same message. Then the game closed and kicked me back to my Xbox home screen. I immediately restarted the game and selected MyCareer only to have it ask my favorite team again and start me a new character. I quickly closed out of the game then restarted it and hit Y to manage my saves only to find my original character nowhere to be found.

I never played a Playground game aside from the couple they make you play during the prelude.

Yep unfortunately nobody is safe and it can happen to anybody. Knock on wood I wish those of you still playing all the best and hopefully you get lucky and it doesn't happen to you too

Mine deleted and got replaced with prelude character after I quit safely. The next day I load my career guy and he's a 60 with all my badges from the character that got deleted

Mine got deleted in the playground. There's no clear explanation as to what's causing deletions.

Mine got deleted when I exited footlocker or NBA store can't remember which. As soon as I started running it crashed to the dashboard. Crossed my fingers and loaded up my player and it was looooooong gone. Bummer too I had him up to an 87 with 6 or 7 badges.

That was Saturday night. I filed a ticket and followed all the steps they said to take . Still haven't heard from them after the initial auto reply from 2k.
