Not sure if you were asking for an explanation or just wondering why they aren't explained in game, but OG went over them in a stream last tear....not sure if anything was refined...

I've been asking for a complete explanation for all these since last year:

• are these defensive options able to be replicated/translated with defensive settings in the pause menu? If so, how? If not, what's different?
• if you as a user select from these and ACE is on, will ACE override you? (seems like it does)
• if you as a user select from these and ACE is off, will ACE override you? (seems like it does).
• if you as a user select from these and ACE is off, will your in game selection override or be overridden by anything you may have set with the pause menu defensive settings?

I never felt confident last year that I could use these as a user consistently and see them stick, even with ACE off. And I never had anyone explain to me if these options offer anything the pause menu settings options do not, or if they are essentially like "macros" for mass edits to pause menu settings.

I know that pause menu user defined defensive setting are, we are told, never overridden by anything from ACE. Assuming that's correct and how the game actually works, there's a lot more we don't know about how these two systems for defensive settings and strategies - in game versus pause menu options - interact with and relate to each other.

What's the point 4 defensive schemes when Matchups are bugged?

I'm playing 12min quarters and after every timeout Matchups are screwed up, even with ACE off, if you leave it on it's even worse.

Does anyone have a solution 4 this?
