Training/Practice thread

I searched the forums a little before I did this. This seems to be a overlooked feature by many in the MyLeague/MyGM world. For some it is they don't understand it and for others they just don't mess with it, therefore I created this thread to try to get tips on how to use it best.

Things I was looking at:
Do you guys set practice intensity the same all season or adjust it as you go?

Do you adjust individual player training or leave it set at player type?

What areas of training do you focus on the most when looking at a player?

What is the best way to adjust training when a player is injured? Lower intensity, higher?

Without all of the cheats that can be added in MyGM I think you have to maximize your training but I need some help in establishing a good set up. If anyone has any tips please share!

Re: Training/Practice thread

I want to be as thorough when it comes to training.

Player intensity is hardest for all. When someone complains, I’ll set that player to lowest for 10 days.

Individual training for each player. My personal style is Speed and 3 points for PG, SG, SF and for PF and C, rebounds and inside scoring.

When injured, lowest intensity until recovery.

Have you ever tried adjust a PF to 3 pt to make him a stretch? I don't know if the training would make a big enough difference or not.

On MyLeague will they complain about intensity level?

Interesting thought on speed.

Great thread. I dabble in this aspect every now and then, but never truly give it the attention it deserves. Hopefully I can learn another thing or two from this from people's experiences

I tried it on a PF a lot. Sorry I forgot to mention that. But only IF the PF has already had high base 3 point score. I noticed their gains is slow.

Speed, if I want my 3 pointer to slash once a while or take advantage of fast break.

(I watch my creations play. So I’m particular with my “designs”.)

I have thought about the stretch 4 thing a lot. I think a PF has to at least being a C to make it worth your while to put time into shooting.

On Centers if their rebounding is below A I almost always like to hammer that one. Also with Centers I like to throw inside defense in as well.
