How many of you are experiencing a lack of consistency in the dunk type you're trying to execute? To make sure we're on the same page, I'll define dunk types as 1) Two-handed 2) Dominant hand 3) Non-dominate hand 4) Flashy.
In 2K17, I had no issues executing the dunk type I called for. This year, I push the right joystick toward the rim and I'm getting flashy dunks, dominate hand dunks, and two-handed (which is what I should be getting each and every time) dunks. Same is true when I initiate other dunk types minus non-dominate hand dunks. Non-dominate hand dunk types seem to work correctly. This occurs in practice and in-game.
Has 2K acknowledged they're aware of this problem? This really is an issue as it takes control away from the user, decreases scenario authenticity, and increases the ability for opposing defenses to capitalize on turnovers/rebounds when steals or blocks occur from incomplete highlight style finishes; especially when a safer non flashy finish (e.g., two-handed) would be the smart and safer alternative.
