PSA: Use offline MyCareer to review archetype attributes (85 OVR) No Cut Scenes!
It's very quick. As soon as you start, you pick a team, build your character, and can go straight into the attributes and badge menus to review everything. You can fill in all of the upgrade blocks to see where the initial caps fall.
I also found it useful to find out what position it'd end up making my build. I hate that 2K decided my original 6'8 SF LDD would be a SF/PF that gets subbed in at PF and C most of the time. You can quickly hop into the roster and see how it assigns your split position. Good way to make sure you're creating a build that'll be utilized in the way that you want.
