removing 2way contracts

Does anyone no why we can't remove 2 way contracts when editing a roster from the main "EDIT Roster" menu?

I want to overwrite these players to continue making my retro roster.

You can, but it's a little convoluted. In order to remove a player's two-way tag, there has to be a non-two-way spot available for him.

For instance, if you wanted to remove the Kings' Jack Cooley's two-way contract, you have to cut one of the non-two-way players first, since there's already 15 of them on the roster.

Once you make a cut, you can go into that two-way player's contract and change the "type" to "core"

I figured another way, without losing any of the taken spots by 2-way contract players. Use a player such as the Mavs #8 K. Collinsworth, which has all 3 options under his contract... change it to core ... trade him to ‘60 Celtics (J. Smith) now his contract is set at core, but change it to Euro Stash with “0” zero years, trade him for another Euro contract player ( notice that all 2-way contracts can also be Euro Contracts ( remember) zero 0 years under it) swap one for the other and now the player under the Celtics roster will have the option set at core ... trade him back for K. Collinsworth and repeat the process ... starting with Collinsworth contract back to “Euro : 0”... it takes time but worth it. I got a roster which I can share with this being done already

Additionally: Any player in the FA Pool that has a two-way contract can't be assigned to a team. You need to edit the player and revert the contract type to Core.

Well not all 2-way contract players have that option under their contract terms. My way gives you that option in the case that’s not available. However I haven’t tried nor seen 2-way contract players under the latest roster.
