Re: NBA 2K19 MyCareer Wishlist

I agree with the custom roster idea.

On last gen 2K I used to love throwing all the legend players from the historic teams onto the FA list, well their youngest version if they had 2 or more in the game. After your first mycareer season all the teams would start signing up the legends, so every game you ended up with several old school players to go up against.... as well as the 2 or 3 your team picked up.

Was a lot of fun to be playing against Jordan, Magic, Bird, Wilt and Russell etc. in your mycareer.

Re: NBA 2K19 MyCareer Wishlist

An idea for online pro-am to make it more fun, competitive and fair.

I would like to see a sort of ranked type of game mode where you introduce salary cap into pro-am like it was done with MyTeam this year to prevent you from having a team of stars. (I haven't played the salary cap mode in MyTeam so I don't know if it was implemented correctly or you could still have a team of stars.)

But basically just take that idea from MyTeam and implement it into Pro-Am. A player's archetype value should be determined by how popular that archetype is. So builds with shooting would cost a lot more than a build with defending in it for example.

This way overpowered builds like pure sharps would take a huge amount of the salary cap for each team so if you have 2 or 3 of them you need to sacrifice a lot on the last 2 player builds. Plus it wouldn't be possible for a team to have a lineup of 5 players with shooting as either a first or secondary skill for every player so you can't play 5-out or do other unrealistic stuff.

It could be like a tournament that runs every week or something where you can earn rewards depending on how far you get and stuff like that. And the only way you can join is of course if the team you have fits the salary cap.

I might rescind my comment on 2K14. Gameplay is so ****ty, it outweighs the good.

Felt the same way when I tried to play 2K11, it wasn’t too bad though.

Re: NBA 2K19 MyCareer Wishlist

2k18 isn't THAT bad. 2k11 is called the best game ever but it still had its share of glitches and cheese. The spin move dunks that you couldn't block, the 7'0 Kobe Bryant clones in Pro Am. Nevermind the fact that you could make guys 7'6 back then. I loved 2k11 but 2k18 isn't bad at all.

2K11 is definitely top two 2K’s just off of the experience. 2K18 gets most of its flack from my player/vc problems.
