Unable to Give Intentional Foul

Has anyone else had a situation where you are unable to give an intentional foul if the opponent keeps passing the ball? Not where they pass to someone far away that you can't get to, but where you are in fouling position but the passing animations don't allow you to foul and they can just do it until the time runs out?

This was a problem in previous years but I thought it was fixed.

Yeah, there's still a lack of urgency with intentional foul and the effort the players give. It's not that hard to pass around and escape the attempts.

Is this when your manually trying to do it or when its set in the coaching settings?

Yes I have it cost my first Online Loss in this game. Was down by one with 5 seconds and was in perfect position to foul but my team wouldn't foul.

Luckily my controller survived the touchdown spike to the ground that followed.

I hit the PS4 touch pad to call it. It worked the play before but not once my opponent started the infinite loop of touch passes.

The players were running towards the ball but I couldn't foul while controlling the closest defender or when I left the cpu to do it.

Same thing happened to me yesterday. I was down 1 with 10 seconds left and I couldn't foul until about 2 seconds left in the game
